Readings By Karen Policies
The "Readings By Karen" Guarantee:
You are paying Karen to be psychic, and she is a very capable and competent reader. If Karen cannot read you for any reason, or if you find that your reading is not accurate, you must stop the reading within the first five minutes by telling Karen, and you will NOT PAY for the Reading. This happens rarely. If you cannot be read there are no hard feelings. Disappointment perhaps, but not a problem. Keep in mind that if Karen cannot read you once she will not try to read you again.
Booking an Appointment: Call Readings By Karen at (860) 665-8024 between 9:00 a.m. and 7:30 p.m. Eastern Time to make an appointment:
To guarantee your time, appointments are made in advance of the readings. If you are booking more than one hour of time whether it be for yourself, or for yourself and another person, you will be asked for a credit card to hold your time available. All appointments at Karen's office are confirmed with the client via voicemail or in person a day in advance of the reading.
Cancellations and missed appointments:
We know that things do come up at the last minute, be they emergencies, a need to reschedule, relatives drop in unannounced, someone you are caring for has a medical emergency, etc. Karen plans her day around service to you and others who wish to get a reading and if you have booked your reading in advance, you need to understand that there were others who were turned away for the time you had booked with Karen and some people wait up to two weeks to get an appointment at a time that is convenient for them. If you cancel within 24 hours of your reading, we may well be able to book someone in who calls at the last minute, but chances are that we won't. Because Karen's time does have value and your time has value, you may be charged for the time Karen set aside in her schedule for you.
New customers who cancel or don't show up go on a list that we keep up to date. They will not be able to book another appointment with Karen without reserving their time with a credit card. This means that a second last-minute cancellation may be reflected by a bill to that card. People who do not call to cancel their appointments may be charged for the time they missed. If you don't want to see a charge on your credit card, please don't miss your appointment.
Phone Readings:
Phone Readings are scheduled in advance just like "in-person" readings. Phone readings are done at 9:15p.m. Eastern Time Monday - Thursday for domestic callers. Karen cannot do earlier readings in the evening due to family and other obligations. You may book a half hour or an hour by phone. Please state how much time you would like when you call (860) 665-8024 . All phone readings are paid for by credit card. You may make arrangements to pay in advance by check, but no readings will take place until your check has cleared. Phone readings are equally as accurate as "in-person" Readings.
All phone readings will require a credit card to reserve your time. If you do not cancel 24 hours in advance of your reading, except for in extreme circumstances, you will be charged for the time Karen set aside in her schedule for you.

In-person readings are done at Karen's office in Rocky Hill, CT. While "walk-ins" are accepted on a first-come first-served basis, to ensure that you do get a reading it is highly recommended that you book an appointment in advance, as Karen's schedule can be filled for up to three weeks in advance.
If you have a reading at a particular time, it is your responsibility to get to that appointment on time. Readings will not be pro-rated due to tardiness. Karen tries to ensure that she does not run any more than 10 minutes late at any time, and she is aware that your time is also precious. If you are late, then Karen's schedule is thrown off for the day as is yours. Courtesy is contagious....pass it on!
Methods of Acceptable payment:
In-Person Readings:
Readings are $50 per half hour, $100 per hour.
We accept Visa, Mastercard and Discover as well as cash.
Telephone Readings:
Karen only accepts credit cards as above, and in some circumstances personal checks which clear in advance for phone readings.
Missing Animals:
Karen is a very accurate remote viewer, but does not remote view missing animals. If you need to find a missing animal, please call on another psychic that specializes in animal communication. We recommend Donna Velardi of Zodiapet. Thank you for your understanding.
Taping of Readings:
No taping of the readings is permitted. For in-person readings, Karen offers pads and pens to take notes with and you may ask her to repeat anything you need to make note of. Thank you for your understanding.

Payment for the reading is due upon completion of the service.
