What to expect when getting a reading

The readings, for Karen, are not just a business but are a spiritual calling to serve humanity. Karen does this with accuracy and compassion for the trials and tribulations that her clients have endured, and she focuses on the joys that are to come. Karen is NOT GOD, and she does not predict death. "For every cloud there is a silver lining" as the saying goes, and Karen prefers to focus on the silver lining. There is never a need to be frightened as Karen has been reading for close to 25 years.

Office or phone

As a matter of note, in-person readings are not more accurate than phone readings. Karen is able to tap into energy via the phone and is equally as accurate. The difference is that Karen will do all of the shuffling for you, and then she will tell you all about your life.

A Reading in Karen Hollis' Office

Karen is happy to take appointments for her Rocky Hill office. Simply call (860) 665-8024 between 9:00 a.m. and 7:30 p.m. Eastern Time to make an appointment. Karen does take "walk-in" clients in her office but tends to get booked up in advance, so to not be disappointed, she recommends an appointment to best reserve a time most convenient to you. If you are a new client, please plan to arrive a few minutes before your appointment so that you can fill out a New Client Form before your first reading. It just takes a few seconds and you can find themunder the large lamp in Karen's waiting room. Karen accepts cash, MasterCard, Visa and Discover for payment in her office. Usually, everyone is telephoned the day before their reading to remind them of their appointment. If we don't reach you, we leave a message. It is very important that your telephone's voicemail be set up so that we can leave a message, as if there is a weather-related change or if anything happens we can reschedule you and you are not inconvenienced. Karen reserves the right to cancel any appointment without notice for anyone who is not reachable by telephone message.

How to get there

Karen's office is located at 2433 Main Street in Rocky Hill, which is on the Silas Deane Highway (Connecticut Route 99) just south of the old Ames Corporate Headquarters. Her office is right beside the CVS Pharmacy (on the right as you are headed south toward Cromwell) at the light where Dividend Road forks off to the left. There is free parking in front of the building in the spaces marked "Visitor Parking." Go in the front door of the building and down the stairs to the office level. Offices are clearly marked; Karen is in Office 9 and there is a sign right beside her office doorway that says, "Readings by Karen."

Telephone Readings

Karen Hollis reads by telephone. She is fond of saying, "There is no magic in you touching the cards." Additionally, many of her clients are across the country or in another country all together. Karen usually does telephone consultations for her North American clients in the evenings at 8:15 and 9:15 pm Eastern Time. There is absolutely no difference between a reading in Karen's office or a reading by telephone in terms of accuracy or quality. She is psychic and capable of mediumship over the telephone and prefers a land line over a cellular connection as sometimes cell calls may be disconnected or noisy. Karen does ask for a credit card in advance for a telephone appointment, but no card is charged until after the reading. Karen accepts MasterCard, Visa and Discover for payments by phone. If you have a debit card and that card has a MasterCard or Visa logo on it, that will be accepted for payment.

International Clients

Karen's international clients usually call her over Skype and she tries to read for them during times that are appropriate to their time zone. She is happy to read for people from any country, such as Australia, Japan, Italy and England. Karen only speaks English.
